sodium salt of the N-benzyl-sulfanilic acid - Preparation method

Open Data Verified Data

Add 400kg of water to the reaction kettle, add 86kg of sodium carbonate under stirring, dissolve, and slowly add p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid above 90 ℃ until fully dissolved. Start dripping 100kg of benzyl chloride at around 95 ℃. The pH value during the reaction is around 9. After dripping, react at 90-95 ℃ for 5 hours. Sampling and measuring the endpoint (at the endpoint, the sample is opaque and not stratified, with a pH value of 7-9). Cool down, filter, place the filtrate in an acid washing kettle, add twice the amount of ice water, cool to 20 ℃, and acidify with hydrochloric acid until the pH value is 2. Filter, the filter cake is p-benzylaminobenzenesulfonic acid. Neutralize, concentrate, cool and crystallize with Na2CO3 aqueous solution, filter and dry, grind and mix to obtain co solvent B.

sodium salt of the N-benzyl-sulfanilic acid - Production method

400kg of water is added into the reaction kettle, 86kg of sodium pudding is added into the reaction kettle under stirring, and after dissolution, p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid is slowly added above 90 ℃ and stirred until fully dissolved. Start dropping 100kg of benzyl chloride at about 95 ℃. The pH value is about 9 during the reaction. After dropping, react at 90~95 ℃ for 5h. The end point of sampling was measured (the sample was opaque, not stratified, and the pH value was 7~9). Cool down, filter, put the filtrate into a pickling kettle, add twice the speed of ice water, cool to 20 ℃, acidify with hydrochloric acid to pH 2. Filtration, the filter cake is p-benzylaminobenzene sulfonic acid. Neutralize with Na2CO3 aqueous solution, concentrate, cool and crystallize, filter and dry, crush and mix with cosolvent B.
